栽培果樹，春天可以觀賞芽姿、色澤鮮明的新葉，色彩斑爛的花朵。接着又可以觀賞一個一個美麗的果實。最後還可以品嘗美味的果實。
而果樹一般適合公園、校園、庭園、山坡、農場較大的地方種植，果樹樹身高大，樹冠擴展。才有較多的果實收成。
但現今很多人居住的地方很少。欲想觀賞果樹的花和果實。亦可以利用稍大的缽、盆來栽培果樹。來滿足自己的愛好。
