球形菊是最常見造形菊﹑採用小菊制成球形的植物。上面的球體表面小花盛開覆蓋球形花株﹑好似一個大花球。方法是通過小菊花主干。經過多次反複摘心,側枝不斷萌發﹑再經過修整﹑最後變成所構思立體球體菊。小球可達30CM﹑大球可達80CM。
