水葫蘆－－王民聲 又名風眼蓮
英文名稱：Eichhornia crassipes
科 ：雨久花科
原產地 ：巴西、亞熱帶地區
葉 ：葉基生、蓮座狀、葉片光亮。卵形、卵狀圓形、賢形、橫長圓形。
花 ：花被裂片6、淡藍色。外輪長圓形，內輪下方2枚與外輪相同。上方1枚較大。淡藍色、中央有黃色長圓形斑塊。花期5-10月。
特徵 ：水生草本、漂浮于水面，莖根短而多葉，匍匐莖、常形成密丛、下面生多數羽狀分枝而懸垂根。在淡水中、根可入淤泥。花、嫩莖葉、可食用作蔬菜用。常被用作猪食。故又被叫猪乸菜。適合水池綠化水面。全株可入藥。在污水生長則不宜食用。
栽培 ：喜陽光、水中生長。適溫20℃-30℃。
繁殖 ：分株匍匐莖。

Whole plant can beused as medicine. Growth in the sewage is unfit for human consumption .
Cultivation : It likes sun , water and grow. Optimum temperature 20 ℃ -30 ℃.
Reproduction: ramets stolons .
