Country of Origin : Brazil, subtropical regions
Leaves: Leaves basal , rosette of leaves bright . Ovate , ovate- rounded, Yin-shaped , horizontal oblong .
Flowers: perianth lobes 6 , light blue . Oblong outer , inner and outer bottomtwo the same . The top one bigger. Light blue, yellow oblong central plaque .Flowering from May to October .
Features:aquatic herb , floating on the water, short and leafy stems roots , rhizomes,often forming dense plexus, below the majority of students feathery branchesand overhanging roots. In fresh water , the root can get into mud . Flowers,stems leaves as a vegetable with edible . Often used as food for pigs . It isalso called swine Soft Fleece dish. Good pool green water. Whole plant can beused as medicine. Growth in the sewage is unfit for human consumption .
Cultivation : It likes sun , water and grow. Optimum temperature 20 ℃ -30 ℃.
Reproduction: ramets stolons .
